~ Thank you to the food committee for serving us a delicious noon meal after our service of remembrance and thankfulness last Sunday.  Thank you also for your willingness to serve for the funeral of Mary Klassen.

~ The funeral for Mary Klassen was held on Saturday, April 21st at the Blumenort Church.  We as a congregation want to wish the family, God’s comfort and a keen awareness of God’s presence during this time.  May God as our Good Shepherd be your guide today and always.

Reminders of prayer items for this week:

~ Thank you to Nettie Ginter and her family, as well as to Jaime Falk and Rod & Ang Fehr, for your willingness to share parts of your journey with cancer last Sunday.  Thank you for your honesty and for the reflections regarding faith and the way this journey has impacted the way you view life.  We want to wish you well and continue our prayer support as you follow up with monthly appointments.

Tim Wiebe has had very positive news following his most recent MRI test.  At this time there is no evidence of the presence of the tumor on his brain.  He and the family are grateful to God for this good news.
