~ Special Welcome this morning to Victor Engbrecht, who comes to us from the Prairie Rose EMC in Landmark. We appreciate your willingness to share with us in our worship, your gifts of song and word. God’s blessings to you and your family in your continued ministry and life together.
~ Let us pray for Jaime and Cody that they would be given the strength and perseverance needed to face the daily challenges of appointments as well as all that comes with raising a young family. May God continue to uphold and strengthen you. May God also guard Tenley from the possible side effects of medications that could have neurological consequences. Thank you for continuing to pray. ~ Let us continue to also pray for Travis and Ashley Hildebrand and their daughter Skylar. They have had an encouraging number of weeks for which they are very grateful.
~ Congratulations and God’s blessings to Alyssa Friesen and Jason Fehr who were married in our church yesterday. We trust that the foundation in which you have laid for your life together will bring much joy as you live out your commitment made to God and one another.
~ Those in various care homes that we remember in our prayers include: Susan Janzen, Trudy Harms, Helen Fehr, Helen Janzen, and Jake Rempel.
~We continue to offer our prayer support for Laure and her family, as well as for the Paroisse Missionaire Congregation in Kinshasa, DR Congo; Ryan Thiessen in San Carlos, Mexico (returning at the end of August); Murray and Carol Honsberger in Papua New Guinea, Eagles Wings Children’s Village in Uganda, Jon & Natalie Neudorf in Chiang Mai, Thailand working with YWAM, Andrea Fehr with YWAM in Hawai’i (returning at the end of September)

September 12 – Kickoff @ BMC : Parents are invited to come and meet the youth leaders @ 6:30pm. Youth starts at 7pm.
Senior Youth (Wednesdays 7pm-9:30pm):
September 14 – A Maze in Corn Kickoff – Cost: $10. Drop-off: 5:15pm | Pick-up: 10:45-11pm. Waivers are required. Contact Youth Pastor Gerry if you need one or two for you and your friends.

~ The Kiev Symphony Orchestra & chorus is bringing “A Beautiful Savior Concert” to the Winkler Mennonite Church on Monday, September 26, 2016 @ 7:00pm. The program includes a variety of sacred classics, hymns, and spirituals, instrumental, acapella and stories of God’s grace. Admission: An offering will be taken for music mission Ukraine Canada and ministries to widows, orphans, and victims of war in Ukraine. All are welcome.
~ Guest groups are very important to us here at Winkler Bible Camp. Whether its school groups, church groups, company groups or family groups, we want each stay with us to be memorable. We are looking for a Rentals Manager to help us achieve this level of care. Attention to detail, great customer relations, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a positive attitude are essential to this position. Part of your work here will include scheduling, planning events, and getting information to the right people to make the event great.
