Prayer & Praise

~ The funeral service for Reverend Edwin Plett, formerly from Rosetown, and a minister at the Gretna Bergthaler Church and the Winkler Bergthaler Church is to be held on Tuesday, August 8 at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church at 11 am.  May God give comfort to all and surround you with peace.

~ We also continue to pray and trust in God’s provisions for Tenley Falk and her family.  We are also grateful for a more relaxed schedule during these summer months.  Updates can be found at: htttp://www.tenleysjourney.wordpress.com

~ Tim Wiebe is still waiting to find out what the results of the biopsy will reveal.  Waiting is often difficult and we trust that this in between time will be filled with a renewed sense of God’s presence and peace.

~ Those in various care homes that we remember in our prayers include: Trudy Harms, Helen Janzen, and Jake Rempel.

~We continue to offer our prayer support for Laure and her family, as well as for the Paroisse Missionaire Congregation in Kinshasa, DR Congo; Ryan Thiessen in San Carlos, Mexico; Murray and Carol Honsberger in Papua New Guinea, Eagles Wings Children’s Village in Uganda, Jon & Natalie Neudorf in Chiang Mai, Thailand working with YWAM,  and Andrea Fehr with YWAM in Hawai’i

Prayer for the Week:

Lord, You know all about us and yet You still love us.  Thank You for understanding us completely.  Please help us to love You and follow You today.   Amen.
