Verse of the Week:

Dear friends, now we are children of God and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Prayer & Praise

~ Tenley Falk has been able to begin her next phase of treatments. Cody & Jaime are grateful for the many ways that she has been gracious about how these treatments interfere with plans for summer activities. They are also grateful for caring and understanding medical staff. We continue to trust that God will provide what is needed. Updates can be found at:

~ Travis & Ashley Hildebrand are also continuing to trust that God will provide what is needed as they continue to pursue further testing for Skylar. Let us continue our prayer support for these families and their children.

~ God’s blessings and best wishes to Janessa Klassen and Berne Damphousse as you continue making preparations for your upcoming wedding on August 13. May you experience much joy as you commit yourselves to one another and to God in this marriage relationship.

Prayer for the Week:
Our God, we pray that we may so know You and love You, that we may rejoice in You. Let our minds meditate on Your eternal goodness, let our tongues speak of it, let our hearts live it, let our mouths speak it, let our soul hunger for it, and our whole being desire it, until we enter into Your joy. Amen.

~ The Ministerial has decided that on Sunday, August 14, we would give this congregation the opportunity to attend the Winkler Harvest Festival Community worship service at 10 am at the main stage. Thus on that Sunday, there will be no Sunday school or worship service in Rosetown.

~ Come gather to pray during the months of July and August for our southern Manitoba region for about half an hour before the Sunday school hour starting at 8:30am! Let’s take this summer season to seek the Lord in an increased way! We will be interceding for believers and unbelievers that the Lords Kingdom would come and His will be done. This will be held in the ladies Sunday school room (old youth room) in a group setting. All ages are welcome!

~ Victor Engbrecht is coming to speak here on Sunday, August 28, 2016. We would like to ask him to do some singing as well. Are there men in our congregation who will be here on that Sunday, who would be willing to form a men’s choir for that Sunday, to which we would invite Victor to join us? Please check with Rudy.

Matthew 5: 1 – 12

And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in Heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
