Verse of the Week:

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and bestows His riches upon all who call on Him.  For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.  Romans 10: 12-13

Prayer & Praise

~ The funeral for Frank Zacharias, father of Connie & Scott Fehr & family, took place on Wednesday, June 14 in the Blumenort Mennonite Church.  Thank you to all those who helped out with music, serving, ushering & sound.  We trust that the family will experience in a renewed way God’s presence and comfort, knowing that the God who is our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer is trustworthy and faithful.

~ We know that for a number of students and teachers June is a busy month of trying to finish up everything for the year as well as preparing for, writing and marking exams.  May you with perseverance, be able to finish well and appreciate the opportunity to be able to learn.

~ We continue to offer our prayer support for Tenley Falk and her family.  May God continue to uphold and sustain you one day at a time.  Updates can be found at htttp://www.tenleysjourney.wordpress.com

~ Thank you to the Adult Sunday school class for looking after leading worship at Eden and Salem this Sunday morning.  Your service is appreciated.

~ Pray for the thousands of Mennonites in the Democratic Republic of Congo who have gone into hiding to escape the violence that has claimed hundreds of lives.  Pray that God would provide life’s necessities for those who have fled their homes, for stable national leadership and for an end to the fighting

~ Those in various care homes that we remember in our prayers include: Trudy Harms, Helen Janzen, and Jake Rempel.

~We continue to offer our prayer support for Laure and her family, as well as for the Paroisse Missionaire Congregation in Kinshasa, DR Congo; Ryan Thiessen in San Carlos, Mexico; Murray and Carol Honsberger in Papua New Guinea, Eagles Wings Children’s Village in Uganda, Jon & Natalie Neudorf in Chiang Mai, Thailand working with YWAM,  and Andrea Fehr with YWAM in Hawai’i

Prayer for the Week:

Make us receptive and open O God and may we accept your kingdom like children taking bread from the hands of their father.  Let us live in peace, at home with You all the days of our lives.  Amen.
