Prayer & Praise
~ A number of students will be starting their exam week on Monday. We want to wish you well in your studies and may you as well as the staff be enabled to persevere so that you may finish the school year well.
~ We continue to remember Tenley Falk and her family. Tenley’s school year has been interrupted in a major way since last Christmas. We trust that the summer months will bring renewed energy and healing as we continue to trust in God’s faithfulness. Updates can be found at: tenleysjourney.wordpress.com
~ Those in various care homes that we remember in our prayers include: Susan Janzen, Trudy Harms, Helen Fehr, Helen Janzen, and Jake Rempel.
~We continue to offer our prayer support for Laure and her family, as well as for the Paroisse Missionaire Congregation in Kinshasa, DR Congo; Ryan Thiessen in San Carlos, Mexico; Murray and Carol Honsberger in Papua New Guinea, Eagles Wings Children’s Village in Uganda, Jon & Natalie Neudorf in Chiang Mai, Thailand working with YWAM, Tyler Loewen in Cambodia, Andrea Fehr with YWAM in Hawai’i, and Janessa Klassen working with School of the Kingdom.
Prayer for the Week:
Lord, You entered in to the world and became flesh so that the love which abides with the world could still be seen and felt. By Your grace, enable us to enter into Your healing life with loving and caring action, as Your Spirit shall lead. Amen.

As a congregation we want to thank all those who have volunteered and been regularly involved in our Youth ministry over this last school year as well as all those who were involved in big and small ways, including praying for our youth and leaders. Thank you for investing in our congregation and its young people!
Our Senior Youth Leaders this year were: Gerry Giesbrecht, Ravae McDonald, Dylan Wiebe, and Eric and Jessica Giesbrecht
Our Junior Youth Leaders this year were: Gerry Giesbrecht, Kristen Falk, Kaitlyn Rempel, and Josh Driedger.
If you have a passion for youth to know Jesus, love God, and reflect His love to others; we would love to explore how you could get involved. Please contact Gerry Giesbrecht if you are interested in helping out during the 2016/2017 school year. We are specifically looking for at least one more male junior youth leader.
~ During the months of July & August, the ministerial is planning to do a series of messages on the Beatitudes. This would coincide with the Sunday school students being asked to memorize this passage from Matthew 5: 1 – 12. We invite the congregation to participate by also memorizing these verses and doing your own study on these most important verses.
