Prayer & Praise

~ Thank you to the Music Committee for planning our fall Songs of Praise Sunday.  It is good to offer our God praise and thanksgiving.  Our Creator delights in our offerings of thankfulness.

~ Thank you also to the many people in our congregation who spend time in committees, who often do a lot of work behind the scenes, work which often goes unnoticed.  Thank you for your diligence, your commitment and time.

~ Thank you also to the many in our congregation who spend time in prayer for one another and for our wider world beyond southern Manitoba.  We need each other’s prayers.  We value and are keenly aware of the prayer support of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

~ We are grateful that Tenley Falk’s week of steroid medication has passed.  We are grateful for here generous spirit which expresses itself in song, and her graciousness.  We offer to God our continued prayers for what you, as a family, need.  Updates can be found at: http://www.tenleysjourney.wordpress.com

Prayer for the Week:

Eternal Father, through Your Spirit delighting in the world, You created us from Joy and for Joy.  Grant to us a deeper knowledge of the Joy which is ours in Christ Jesus, so that our hearts may be glad and in the world to come our Joy may be full: for with the Son and the Holy Spirit, You are our God, now and forever.  Amen
