~ Please pray for Adria Wiebe, 5-year-old niece of Jonathan and Melissa (Penner) Wiebe.  Adria has cancer, and is experiencing many complications and setbacks in treatment.  Please pray for complete healing for Adria, for her pain to be greatly reduced, and for wisdom and guidance for her doctors and caregivers.  Pray also for Adria’s parents, Norman and Shelley (from Plum Coulee), that they will be free of illness so that they can be with her in hospital, for rest and for strength.

~ Pray for Kelly Fehr. She has been in Boundary Trails for the past 3 weeks with symptoms of pain as well as nausea. She has undergone many tests, which have come back negative. Pray that God would grant peace and relief from pain, as well as answers as to what is wrong and how to treat it. Pray for her parents and family as they are busy with harvest and work and are unable to be with her all the time while she is in hospital.

Andrea Fehr is planning to head back to Kona, Hawai’i to work with Respect the Corners Crossfit Ministry as well as hoping to be more involved with YWAM Discipleship Training Schools. She plans to leave the week after September Long Weekend. Pray for provision and God’s grace and peace with her as she goes.

WE NEED LEADERS: We are looking to fill 2 female and 1 male youth leader spots for this upcoming fall youth season. Ideally it would be great to have a married couple and another woman come on board. Age is no limit for volunteering with youth. They have lots of energy; don’t feel like you need to keep up with them. If you love God and want to see youth come to know and love God. Gerry would love to talk to you! And if you think that you’re not the right fit for this, but know someone who would be amazing at it, tap them on the shoulder and let Gerry know to contact them. Feel free to call or text him about what it might look like for you to be involved. His cell number is 204-362-7262.

Memory Passage for summer 2018

Isaiah 6: 1 – 8

  1. In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of His robe filled the temple.
  2. Above Him were seraphim; each with six wings: with two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.
  3. And they were calling to one another, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory!”
  4. At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
  5. “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
  6. Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
  7. With it he touched my mouth and said: “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”
  8. Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am, send me.”
