Verse of the Week:

Praise the Lord, Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens.  Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.  Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with tambourines and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals.  Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.  Psalm 150

Prayer for the Week:

~ Prayer for the Week:  Praise be to You, O Lord, who spins shining stars across the wondrous heavens and stretches out the seas; who lifts the dawn into place and sets boundaries for night; who awes the earth with storms and gentles it with rainbows; who gives everything a season and breathes life and love into the dust of us.  Praise be to You Lord, in all times and for all things; the soft slant of sunlight, the evening breeze, the sweat of labor, a sweet song to lighten the heart; the deep breath, the tended wound, mercy, quietness, a friend, for the miracles of the daily and the mysteries of the eternal.  Praise be to You, O Lord, from all creatures; laughers and list-makers, wonderers and poets and plodders and prophets, the elderly, the newborn, the whale and the worm, from all and from us, praise be to You for amazing grace through Jesus the Christ, our Lord.  Amen.
