~ Congratulations to Rachelle & Fred Loewen on the birth of a son, Jackson Blake Loewen, born May 9th at 8:55am. 6lbs 11oz., 19 1/4 inches. Tanner is a great big brother and so in love!  May God bless you as you raise your children to love one another and teach them the ways of Jesus.

~ Austin Penner was denied bail on Thursday, but the judge is pushing for his case to be dealt with quickly. Linda and Ravin both miss him – please pray for them as well as Austin.

~ Let us continue our prayerful support for Tenley Falk and her family.  The maintenance phase of treatments will continue for some months yet.  We continue to trust that God will provide what is needed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.  Updates can be found at htttp://www.tenleysjourney.wordpress.com

~ Gerry Giesbrecht is speaking this weekend at a Junior High retreat for the Altona EMMC group

~ Those in various care homes that we remember in our prayers include: Trudy Harms, Helen Janzen, and Jake Rempel.

~We continue to offer our prayer support for Laure and her family, as well as for the Paroisse Missionaire Congregation in Kinshasa, DR Congo; Ryan Thiessen in San Carlos, Mexico; Murray and Carol Honsberger in Papua New Guinea, Eagles Wings Children’s Village in Uganda, Jon & Natalie Neudorf in Chiang Mai, Thailand working with YWAM,  and Andrea Fehr with YWAM in Hawai’i

Prayer for the Week:

Sing to the Lord, a new song: sing to the Lord all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, bless His name, tell of His salvation from day to day.  Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.  For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, He is to be feared above all gods.  For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before Him, strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.   Amen.
